I had an incredibly disappointing experience at the H&M located in Willow Grove Mall due entirely to the store manager, Michelle. Her behavior was extremely unprofessional, dismissive, and frustrating. From the beginning of the interaction, she showed no willingness to listen to my concerns or engage in any meaningful dialogue. I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at this H&M. As soon as I walked in with my small dog, a staff member immediately started yelling at me in front of other customers. Instead of calmly explaining the store policy, they were rude and aggressive, which was completely uncalled for. The whole situation was embarrassing and unnecessary. Today I tried to return an item that I bought on November 7. Last time the sales associate scanned my membership, but didn’t actually apply it. And since I didn’t have the paper receipt, I wasn’t able to return the item — even though it wasn’t my fault that she didn’t properly scan my membership. And this isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue like this. Last time the same manager wouldn’t take my return because she said it was a final sale, but it wasn’t. This location has very immature staff. I arrived at 5:50 p.m., and the dressing rooms were already closed. This store is known for closing the dressing rooms early, and this is the second time I’ve experienced it. It’s absolutely ridiculous — how do they expect to make any sales after 5 p.m. if customers can’t try on clothes? Several other customers also walked up to the dressing rooms and became frustrated when they saw the large coat rack blocking the entrance.
