Just beyond rude. The lid came off a candle and broke and the owner comes up and immediately asks “ok who is going to buy a candle”. She then starts ranting about people stealing things after I had already told her I’d pay for the candle. It was a small candle and she said it was $50, which we paid. No issue with her charging for the e candle but it’s a vacation town and people are her to relax. Absolutely no reason for the rudeness or attitude. Would never spend a dime here and would encourage others not to do so.
Based on my observation of two other shoppers and my personal experience, the employees at this store are not client oriented and are actually rude. Not so much as a welcome or “what are you looking for today?”. I recommend the shop next door, Luminary, or Oko. People who care to say hello and care about the shopper experience.
The customer service was horrible. They DONT tell you about the 3%card fee, and they don’t tell you they allow returns. Owner said she wasn’t the owner but later found out she was. DO NOT shop here.
Love all the stuff in there. A little expensive for some other stuff. The lady in check out is always nice.
Cute shop. Staff was unfriendly. Went to purchase item, item was missing a button and their solution was to take the other button off. 3% credit card fee. They do not allow returns and they do not tell you that. Do not shop here.
