We had never been to this store before but stopped in on a lark while visiting Manteo. Oh my goodness - Miss Brenda is an absolute delight. She greeted all her customers with warmth and humor. The items in her gift shop are absolutely beautiful. If you're coming to the OBX, you should definitely check out her shop.
I love this store and everything in it! The sea glass jewelry is breathtaking! And Brenda is delightful and so very kind. When in Manteo -- go to His Shells by Brenda!
I can't think of a single reason why anyone wouldn't enjoy a trip to this shop. My wife and I love it and Brenda is a wonderful lady. She has unique gifts and clothing that you can't find at too many places. Hey it's not Walmart so if you want that atmosphere go there, not to "His Shells".
We always stop into this fun shop on our trips to OBX! Brenda is so nice and her clothes and jewelry are unique and are fun reminders of the beach. Her shell art is amazing as well!
Not impressed! We went in and thought it was a lovely store. Talked to the women that was working there on Tuesday (she was wonderful). We looked at a bracelet, thought it was a little pricey but ended up deciding to purchase it (sterling silver with a beautiful light blue piece of sea glass in the center). I love LOVE LOOOVE this store! Brenda has fabulous clothing! Not to mention Brenda is so personable and just enjoyable to work with! I even called and ordered another dress from her! You have to go visit!! You will fall in love!
