Their over the counter food is ALL deep fried in the same oil all day.. the "chicken" "sandwich " i just purchased at 6pm tasted like 6 layers of deep fried paper towels! So disgusting. You need emergency gas or water? Yes, stop here. But go a mild south, especially with children, and hit the Hiouchi Visitor center.. then go 5 more miles south and eat in Crescent City. Still not great, but this place is a tourist trap! Avoid!
Holy smokes, these JoJo's are the best I've ever had and the fried chicken is on point and up there as well! I'm usually not much for sweets, but I'm going to do a lot of hiking today, so I got this carrot cake and the ingredients check out. I couldn't resist. I got some cool magnets and stickers too for a good price. I was just looking at some reviews from from 11 months ago and someone is complaining about the prices.
