In 1979, Dane Harman was determined to reduce his family’s high electric bills. An experienced welder with an eye for architecture, Dane designed and built a wood stove to heat his home. It worked so well, neighbors asked him to build one for them, too. Dane agreed, and was soon overwhelmed with orders. He had outgrown his garage and couldn’t keep up with production. 9/28/16 We asked Hinton &Sons, (Cozy Barn), to provide an estimate for a Pellet Stove Insert. George Hinton, owner came to our home, measured the opening and advised they would have to remove the marble around the fireplace and add a piece to cover a 5 inch spacing.
