The doctor made me feel very uncomfortable. If you’re a young woman I wouldn’t suggest going to him. I thought he was just trying to be nice at first but he continued making comments about my appearance throughout the whole appointment, even going as far as saying that I am “too pretty” to be doing the job that I am doing. On top of that, he provided me with the wrong prescription for one of my eyes, which I have been stuck with since then. Came in to get glasses for my 4 year old and she was not fitted correctly. The frames are huge, for a young adult even and they didn’t say anything and sent us out the door. Very disappointed
In a time when good retail customer service is almost non-existent, my visit to this store was definitely remarkable. Each person I had contact with was competent, efficient and kind. The retail staff was efficient, knowledgeable and all around "nice." The doctor was thorough and spent a good amount of time explaining details. This hardly happens anymore. This location is definitely outstanding.

I have been visit Hinsdale Lake Optics for the first time. Very friendly and helpful staff. Dr. Paczkowski it is very thorough and professional. Highly recommend this place.
