We had a very positive experience with Cedar Creek's Hillwood assisted living facility. Many of the staff have worked there for years, and quickly settled our mother into her new surroundings. They managed her medications and specific Alzheimer's symptoms, and matched activities with her abilities. When the time came for hospice care, Hillwood worked seamlessly with the hospice organization to ensure that our mother's last days were comfortable and peaceful. The staff at Hillwood are wonderful. Whenever I visit, I am greeted by warm and friendly faces. The small home concept is perfect for residents and families who are dealing with Alzheimer's or other dementia. I highly recommend Hillwood (and Cedar Creek) to anyone searching for a memory care option for a loved one.
