I go to estate sales every weekend. Edna's and Sandra's are the greatest, not because of their prices, but because they are nice ladies and treat their customers with respect. I have been to Hilltop's store, and to some of their sales, and all I see are belligerent people that have a bad attitude. I think it might even be the owner. I won't do business with them again. When you disrespect an old lady and call them names, you shouldn't be in business.
Waiting for a response from Chris @ Hilltop who i emailed a couple of hours ago. I'm not sure who verbally accosted my mother today at their estate sale at 491 Griggs Place, East Aurora, NY. A man claimed to own the home but other Hilltop workers there didn't know the 'homeowner' so I'm now thinking this aggressive person was probably a Hilltop employee, maybe even the business owner because no way should an employee act like this in this type of situation. I cannot say how poorly run the sale was that I went to this weekend. Only one person taking money. Owner as rude and nasty to customers in person as in responses to online reviews. Disgusted by how loud, rude, belligerent man spoke to customers who complained about waiting an hour in line to pay the one person taking money, put everything down and left. Chris and Karen did an excellent job taking care of an estate sale for me. They worked very hard to clean and creatively stage everything for sale. The house looked wonderful and thanks to their good marketing was very successfuly. I would highly recommend using them.
Great sale, great stuff! If you haven’t been to their sale come take a look �. I have been able to buy high quality products that I could not afford if not for Hilltop. �
We had an estate sale on August 4-6. Karen and Chris did an amazing job. Very clean, organized and professional. They did an awesome job on the set up the house looked great. And after the sale they made sure the house was clean when they left. We became friends with them. Very happy with them. We would recommend them.
