This place is truly a hidden gem, the scenery, wine and even the water tastes amazing. Talk to the owner, you will truly be glad to have made the decision to come.
Donna is a foundational rock in Jamul and her wines are spectacular!!! Exceptional service and it’s hard to imagine a more raw country exceptional wine experience only 20 minutes from SD. Awesome!!!
We visited Hillside Ranch about two weeks ago and definitely owed them a well-deserved review! After spending a weekend all the way down in Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico, we honestly couldn’t stop thinking about how good the wine at Hillside Ranch was. We had such a lovely experience! Donna, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, the wines were great, and everyone was so friendly. We love finding little local gems like this so close to home. We’ll definitely be back!
