History Established in 1947. Ronald Hill founded Hill Opticians in 1947. It was the first optical shop in Hanover. Ronald was politically active in New Hampshire, fighting for laws for opticians and for consumers. Among other things he worked to enact legislation to require prescriptions to be given to customers.
