I would literally come here every day if I could. I am a nursing student, so self-care and relaxation is a must. I love their monthly membership which also gives discounts on additional services. When I go here, I usually do their 90 min massage or their Lux facial (when you go Lux, you'll never go back). Cameron is the best professional massage experience I’ve at Highlands and his years of experience in the industry are obvious. I have nerve pain and frequent muscle spasms in my neck and upper back, and he has a way of working out the knots with the perfect level of deep tissue, while still maintaining that spa massage experience. Cameron is healing balm for my injuries and issues! The membership program here is awesome and staff is always friendly.
I have used Highlands for years but this last experience was so disappointing I decided I would never go back… except my husband had purchased a gift certificate so I called today to schedule one last time. On my last visit the level of miscommunication, confrontation and pure disrespect was astounding, ironically mostly from the owner. The communication was very unclear and when I asked about additional charges and why we got charged a sauna fee when we hadn’t even used the sauna, charged a robe fee, etc, we got blacklisted... read more
In the last 4 experiences I have had at Highlands I have experienced lack of customer service, rude behavior from staff, condescension, inappropriate conversations from a massage therapist, additional undisclosed charges and complete lack of personal care. It's really unfortunate when you want to support a local young business owner and find yourself unable to.
