I visited Highlands Day Spa in Post Falls for a massage. During the visit, there was a disagreement about billing. While I stated I was willing to pay, the owner told us we could be accused of "theft of services." I tried to clarify the charges and pay for the service, but the conversation escalated unnecessarily and felt confrontational. Let me preface by saying I have never been here and the last time I went to a spa was about 10 years ago and last lead meditation experience was about 6-7 years ago. I didn't know what to expect from here but I wanted get a kick start back into self care and this seemed like the place to go. I went into downtown Coeur d'Alene location for a monthly special (body scrub, mud wrap and massage with Joni). I have been to Post Falls location a few years ago and I really like the improvements that were implemented at the new CDA spa. The sounds, the lighting, the scents - everything was very relaxing and toned down, just like a spa should be. I highly recommend The Highlands to friends & family on a regular basis. I’ve always enjoyed both the post falls location & the CDA location as well. I send my husband for messages & visit when I have company for nail services. They always have monthly specials also so trying new services is addicting!

Sarah was absolutely amazing. I had been in tears due to my hair being done so poorly at another salon. When I say bad, it was bad. I don’t know how Sarah did what she did, but it was nothing short of magic. She was very honest about what she was seeing and what we needed to do. She was very personable and I felt relaxed from the minute I sat down. I could not recommend her enough. The only critique I have is that Sarah needs a better space to work out of.
