I love living at the Highlands! It's like having my own home without the obligations. A warm welcoming community with caring neighbors. The best combination of privacy and community. Caring Local management and highly competent maintenance crew. So grateful to live here.
Quiet, gated community
Have had a great time living here for the last three years. And was the next unit neighbor to one of the reviewers and saw the mess that was left when they moved out.
My mother lived here for 18 months. Upon moving out we discovered the water heater was leaking. We immediately informed the management and the water heater was replaced. The water heater leaked into the hall closet. My mother received an invoice for the cost of replacing all the carpet in the condo due to stains. The only stain was in the closet from the water heater. Recently a resident was charged to replace their water heater. These are rental units. BEWARE! My parents lived here for four (4) years. They were impeccably clean and took pride in their unit; they transformed both front and back yards into an oasis of beautiful flowers. They were known throughout the facility for their kindness and helpfulness. They recently moved to be closer to us. They received a bill from Highlands for $535 deducted from their deposit.
