To be honest This was my first time shopping at HIGHLAND FARMS, but I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was and how organized it was. The bins all along the meat department is a welcome sight and meats were easy to see and the Staff were nice and accommodating, especially the young gentleman at the meat counter. However I was astonished at the high prices at the meat department. I asked for some FLANK STEAK for beef and broccoli and was told by a friend that she usually buys it for around $25. It is a good supermarket and I usually shop here with my family. However, today I had a disappointing experience with one cashier. I politely asked her to remove an item after checking the price and apologized. She made rude comments in her own language while doing so. I can understand the language—Telugu—so I clearly understood what was said. She was also using headphones and talking on the phone while working.
