My family and I recently moved my Grandma into Highgate. They exceeded our expectations and we couldn't of asked for a smoother transition. My grandma feels safe and well taken care of here. All of the staff go above and beyond their job titles to make everyone feel comfortable and happy. I have never been to a facility where staff approach you to say hi and introduce themselves. This really makes a difference. If you and your family are starting the journey of looking for a home for a loved one, start at Highgate.
I am aware of most of the senior living buildings in Bellingham and work with a lot of them through networking opportunities. Highgate Senior Living is very well represented in Whatcom County by their Community Care Coordinator Britt Kane. She is professional and welcoming and they do a great job staying involved in the community!
I have done rotations at Mt. Baker and Stafholt and I must say I am thoroughly impressed by the staff as well as the appearance of such radiant health and happiness of its clients.
We could not be happier with this facility. My Father moved to Highgate Assisted Living in Bellingham, WA in the spring of 2014. His room is beautiful and newly renovated. The facility is open, sunny, clean and very attractive. Best of all the staff are extremely caring and competent. As a bonus the food is delicious and healthy. We could not be happier and are most grateful to the wonderful staff at Highgate for making my Father's living experience the best it could possibly be. Thank you!
