I admit that when it comes to making a final selection on a product, it is an informed decision. I ended up with the HPC 30qt cooker. It is so convenient and easy to use I can't even believe it. The spigot to drain the pot aids tremendously in cleanup. The fact that the stand is a part of the cooker rather than a pot balancing precariously on a cheesy turkey fryer stand is so reassuring especially with kids around.
