The best midwife ever! She is the best woman to walk along you side during the biggest change of a woman’s life!
I enjoyed every minute of my pregnancy journey with Louise as my midwife. She is incredible. I was met every appointment with love and care and felt like she truly cared about me and my baby (and my family). I was able to come to her with questions without judgement and she answered them perfectly. She was the sense of peace and calm I needed at my birth and cared for me postpartum as well. Best midwife ever
Leading up to the birth I really liked these guys. They're nice, they seemed to let my wife choose things and have freedom. But when it came to the actual birth it was not even a little comfortable. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day, but loads of negative vibes coming off of her and she threatened to use pitocin if it took too long. Overall I was really disappointed with the results and my wife had little to no say in what she wanted while giving birth. I felt unwelcomed in the room. High Desert Midwifery is outstanding. Louise and her partner Brie were knowledgeable, calm, and attentive presences during our child's birth. They are both very thoughtful, heart-centered individuals, and we were grateful to have their assistance throughout the pregnancy, delivery, and post-birth.
