Jerry was great!! I needed his help to add a new exhaust system to our old 1995 Ford F150 which had an ugly old rusty tailpipe that didn’t look good and was an eye sore. Also in the past the truck struggled with passing smog and needed help. I told him I really wanted a new Chrome tailpipe for the truck that looked good but also to add a new exhaust system that would make the truck sound better but not too loud. Jerry Higgins ran some tests and said I should solve a rich fuel condition on my van that failed its smog test, before going to the cost and expense of having his shop install new catalytic converters. His advice was on the mark; replacing a faulty fuel pressure regulator solved the problem. The van passed its smog test and I saved the cost of installing new cats. I highly recommend Jerry and Higgins Muffler and Brake for their honest, positive approach to customer service.

Amazing service and honest pricing! My Kia Rio failed the smog test due to a check engine light. I took it to the official Kia service center multiple times, but they couldn't figure out the issue. Eventually, they told me I needed a new catalytic converter and quoted me $2,500.
