Great place to bring grandchildren.
Awesome hidden treasure, especially for families with littles.
Really quiet preserve that connects to Whalon Lake, DuPage River Park, and the DuPage River paved trail. There's a couple small trails that lead through the woods in the preserve itself. One trail section was closed, and I believe access and parking at the preserve is limited in the winter. I was able to access the preserve via the paved trail from Whalon Lake.
Love this nature center! Tons of things for kids to do most at no cost. Outside there is a super cool area for kids to explore the outdoors. Dont Forget to stop in and check out the animal ambassadors!!
