Hickory Glen had very patient staff with our Aunt, while she lived there. We were very disappointed in how her time there ended. We were given 20 minutes notice that she could not return from the hospital. We were there over 2 weeks cleaning out her apartment and said if they needed anything to please let us know. 7 months later we got a forwarded letter from a collection agency. It had been sent to an incorrect address for the Aunt in memory care. I had to pay it to get information. I don't believe a bill had ever been sent... read more
They only care about money here, not the people. They have not -for years- been able to keep the elevators working or rid the building of bed bugs. The whole place is not cleaned as it should be, housekeeping is a joke. And management never returns calls or answers emails, they are very hard to get ahold of with concerns.
Went to visit staff and residents.
I went for an interview. This is a separate rating. The property was well maintained. That's the 5 stars.
