I had a High Tide boat lift installed. Without going into all of the details, there were numerous issues with both the product that was originally ordered and then installed incorrectly. So impressed! This is my first time ever posting a Google review. I have 2 Hi-Tide lifts that are each almost 20 years old. First, I have never had any problems until today. That by itself is impressive. Today, I needed to fix a remote that had stopped working. Second, a real person based in America, RODNEY GENTZEL, actually answered the phone. I installed two hi-tide lifts about 4 years ago. Since then I have had non-stop problems with my PWL lift. My first issue was the PWL lift cradle snapped at a weld about two years after purchase. Now I had to replace my mast at a whopping cost of $5k. Definitely look for other options as quality and warranty are not sufficient with this company. Had I know it would be $5k to install a replacement mast I would have just bought a new lift from another company.

I bought a home with a boat dock that already had a Hi-Tide, Cuda Gear Boat Lift. I got in contact with Rodney Gentzel at Hi-tide to replace the cables and re-install pulleys to increase the lift capacity to the rated capacity before putting my boat on the lift and later reached out for information regarding the remote control capability that I didn't realize I already had.
