The staff here are always very friendly and helpful and enthusiastic. Tanks are clean and I would say the fish are usually looking happy and healthy. There are times there may be sickly looking fish but that's understandable and normal with any aquarium- I would assume after pointing out sick fish etc they would do what they need to do to treat fish or quarantine. Overall I really enjoy coming here because of the cleanliness of store, friendliness of staff and great variety!
Great place. Probably one of the best aquarium shops I've been to in sydney. Fish and inverts (and beyond) are displayed in high-quality environments, look healthy and seem to have their requirements met. This is more than can be said for most pet stores/aquariums in the city. Staff also very helpful but not pushy; ask questions to find out about suitability of customers' set-up for fish () Good range of aquatic plants. Parking available on-site.
Melissa, Luke and the team at Hi tek are a wealth of knowledge and experience, providing excellent advice. They have a huge variety of aquatic creatures and plants. They will even place special order requests for their customers. Hi tek is second to none when it comes to running an aquarium business.
Great Service and great staff. Brilliant collection of tropical, marine, cichlids and gold fish. Stock of filters and accessories is great. Highly recommend a visit.
