A lawfirm is only as good as the lawyers they employ, and im sure many are competent. However as it pertaiqns to realestate transactions, many local realtors feed this firm, and their "basic" realestate fee starts at $2500+ disbursements. This is not difficult law to practice, its simpe title searches, lien searches, discharges and charges., Look on google, MANY lawyers do this for under $1000. When queried, their lawyer said its what they charge, feel free to hire another lawyer.
We were looking for a good estate lawyer in the Midland area and decided on Stephanie Yeo based on her credentials. We just signed our wills and Stephanie was AMAZING. I highly recommend getting a real will done, and hiring Stephanie to lead you through it. She's smart, thoughtful, and even made it fun. An easy 5 stars.
This firm, and a specific lawyer, were recommended to me for an estate process. Apparently I can't talk to who was recommended without talking to someone else first, in this instance it was Kellie. Needless to say that my experience with her, is reflected in my rating. Kellie seems to not enjoy her job or talking with people or maybe it having been a Friday afternoon.
