I purchased two Heybike Ranger 2 bikes on April 17, 2025, hoping to enjoy a summer of family rides. One bike worked beautifully. The other - A safety hazard from day one. By May 6—still well within the return window—I reported a serious defect: the bike accelerates abruptly and unpredictably, even on pedal assist level 0. Instead of accepting a return, Heybike pushed me into a long, exhausting cycle of self-led troubleshooting. They sent parts one at a time (throttle, controller, sensor), each taking days or weeks to arrive.... read more
