Follow up on 9/27/25: Thanks to Gary (the owner) for reaching out and resolving this issue. It shows that as the owner he cares about his business. I do hope that if the store displays their return policy for customers to see and knowingly decide whether to purchase the product or not. Thanks for taking the light bulbs back. They refused to take back an unopened box of their over priced lightbulbs even though I had my receipt. They made excuses that it is their policy not to take light bulbs back! She said "it is written on the receipt", "we told you when you bought it", and " we do not give back cash". All false statements. We were not warned that at this store lightbulbs are non-refundable and it was not written on the receipt. We had never asked for cash, just wanted credit back to my credit card. They provide decorating advice, something you'll never get from a mass production lamp store. They have good taste - and enhance the customer.
Not sure if it's just me but I feel since the pandemic Customer Service most anywhere is just so different. Even when you purchase something that is under a year old, and it is still under warranty the hoops one has to jump through is ridiculous. I don't get easily impressed anymore because my experience as of a year ago was not even satisfactory .
