Very disappointing experience. I reserved an EV only to discover they only had a Ram truck. What’s the point of a reservation?
I made a reservation with Hertz at their Salt Lake City Main Street location, expecting to pick up my car. When I arrived, I was told there were no cars available. The agent claimed my booking was “last minute” and said they didn’t want to inconvenience other customers by giving me a vehicle—yet they had no problem leaving me stranded with no car and no solution. Don’t waste your time….I tried to reach a representative…The phone number makes you go to their website, their website won’t let you see if they even have the type of vehicle you need without signing up for loyalty rewards….useless, just useless….bring back our in-house company customer service representatives!! Will never recommend Hertz.
Keeps putting me on hold when I'm a recent DV victim trying to get out of SLC as soon as possible....first time I was put on hold for over 20 minutes for them to help another customer, thats fine. The second time I was put on hold for 10 minutes just to "check rates." ...it shouldn't take this long to make a simple reservation or even get rates.
