President’s Circle means nothing and gets you nothing here. Skip the counter= give them all your information as if they don’t have it. This place has more Nissans than a used car lot in the hood. Hertz keeps going downhill.
Cynthia was able to get me into a one way vehicle rental for 2 days on short notice going from Abilene to Lubbock. Very grateful Hertz was here because both Budget and Enterprise didn’t have any vehicles. Ironic because I just returned a Budget box truck and they didn’t have any vehicles for rent, making it very difficult. But Hertz was incredibly helpful. Thank you Cynthia!
If you're under the age of 25, don't bother renting here. They apparently have a "branch policy" that 21-25 year olds are only allowed to rent the smallest car they have, even though I had no problem booking a SUV online on their website using the same information. They had no small cars left and the front desk girl didn't care that I was now stranded with no car and hotel in Abilene. Scummy
BEWARE!!!!!!! When you rent a car from the Hertz Location in Abilene Airport, you are not renting a Hertz vehicle. They make their own rules and charge what ever they want, not by Hertz standards. They rent cars that they own and you have no Hertz protection. What ever you do, don't have a change of plans and drop off at another location because it's not a Hertz car and you will get charged through to nose for the drop off. I use Hertz at the Abilene Airport a lot for work. Justice and Veronica take care of me each time I need a vehicle. No problems!!
