I have tried to settle this complaint personally about HERTZ/LYFT/EXPRESS DRIVE with a overcharge complaint specialist and have went around and around with this mess. Paying for a Lyft vehicle thru Hertz in Independence mo and being overcharged for days when the car was towed in, broke down, not running and finally given a vehicle that smelled like Marijuana and cigarettes, back drivers window did not roll down and a hole in the driver side floor. I recently rented a Chevy Tahoe from Hertz (Independence, MO) for a family vacation, and while the vehicle itself was great, the overall experience turned into a frustrating ordeal that is still not resolved. The pickup process was smooth, and I want to specifically recognize Daleaha, who was incredibly kind, personable, and helpful—easily the best interaction I’ve had at this location.
