Update 7/30/25 Car smelled like pot, dirty inside and out. Less than half tank gas. My brother's reservation the day before mine was not honored-no cars available. There is no drop box. Of all the car rental companies I have best service from hertz. I've had to use others because of corporate changes and I prefer herts

Staff is very busy and overworked. The vehicle was nice and gas efficient. The staff did offer me a ride home which accompanied a pleasant conversation. I hope that they get more help because the staff that I met are very kind people just spread thin.

The first hertz location we went to had no vehicles and did not inform us until we arrived at 9am expecting to pick up a car that I booked 3-4 weeks in advance. We then had to call around and find another Hertz location that had vehicles to match our reservation. When we arrived, they were so busy there were 4 other people waiting and no staff in the lobby for about 10 minutes. At drop off there also was no staff in the lobby and 3 other people waiting to pick up/drop off. The lobby was also very dirty and looked like floors... read more
