HORRIBLE! I have used hertz for years but never again after they started scamming me! I have had multiple rentals with them recently that they keep trying to scam me. One rental they auto-selected insurances I never selected to try and steal over $1,000 from me and the next rental they claim I never changed the return location even though I did and spent over an hour on the phone with then doing so, then they lied and said I did not change the return location. Thieves and absolute scum!
Return was “temporarily” closed and return box sealed. This was where I was supposed to return my vehicle. Had to drive 40 minutes away and take an Uber back. Very dissatisfied!
Made a reservation to this location. Come to find out they were permanently closed
I had a great experience at Hertz car rental Colonial Heights, VA branch. The representative who helped with my car rental process, Nick, was professional, efficient and kind. It was a quick and smooth process and affordable. I recommend Hertz over Enterprise and Avis.
Never again, this place will try to scam you for extra money! I came in with a reservation from Delta Travel. The clerk could see my reservation but stated she could not complete the booking for the agreed upon rate even though I had the email confirmation with the receipt for the booking details. She kept telling me I missed my "appointment". She told me I was late and that made the reservation null and void.
