have a car without AC and keep getting told there is no other car for me
We needed a rental car that day. Looked at the airport (RIC) and 2 places in Chester and all had literally zero cars available! The one lady at Hertz in Col Hgts stated a lot of rental companies are selling off inventory to buy newer vehicles. Plus the lady @ Enterprise stated due to the Gov't shutdown a lot of vehicles had been rented due to the excessive crap at the airports. As someone who frequently has to work with hertz, i genuinely wouldn’t choose them. They’re rude off the rip, harass you until a problem is fixed and genuinely not worth the headache. Would advise you steer clear of them!
This place is the worst! All of The employees were slow and rude. I had to wait while she had a fight over the phone with a customer. And I was told to wait another 45 minutes. Several other customers came in and complained about the wait as well. On top of that, they could not get the credit card machine to work so I never got a car to rent.
