I had a great experience renting from Hertz for a weekend trip to Vermont! The attendants were so sweet, knowledgable, and helpful and answered any questions/concerns I had. The car I received was just what I needed and ran perfectly. It was a convenient trip from Grand Central (just across the street from the Metro-North station) I ended up saving a good chunk of money. Would definitely recommend as renting a car in the NYC can get expensive (esp for a weekend & if you need to travel far).
Always an easy experience at this location. And Madge is gracious and kind with every customer. Her patience and knowledge are like no other!
Never again with Hertz! Rented car for one day from Hertz on Haarlem Avenue in North White Plains. Upon returning car, reported that the back seat windows wouldn't open. Those windows also had some type of streaking on the outside as if the car hadn't been cleaned before our rental. Just before returning the car, our friend was able to get one open but only after really working it to loosen it from something sticky at the top of the window.
