I see a bunch of bad reviews on this Hertz location, which is confusing to me as I've had nothing but positive experiences. I've been booking cars from this location for business trips for the last 3-years with zero issues. I find the staff friendly and helpful; even accommodating me when I accidentally booked from the wrong location (TPA airport). I recommend this location highly and appreciate the staff's hard work to make my rental experience a positive one.
Not recommended if you want to have a pleasant experience with your car rental. Called the day before to make sure I could park my own car in the parking lot. They confirmed it on the phone. On that same call, I asked where to drop off the car keys and they indicated where the key box is to drop it after hours, and said I would be charged for one day only (same day pick up and drop off). Get told I can't rent cause my credit score was below 620. Despite a $500, deposit and prepay. I got nothing bad on my driving record. I guess hertz isn't interested in making alot of money here or something.....i can't mentally comprehend the rationale and decision to use credit scores to factor into renting a car. This is 2025. People are gonna have bad credit..things are tough Well. Guess I'll just Uber. It will be cheaper anyway
