dont use Hertz in Vancouver - and maybe any place. If something happens to the car and you are in the middle of nowhere, you will not be able to get any help from their emergency line. It took me almost 4 hours to reach them and they could not help with anything, but exchangong the car if I brought it back myself.
The "woman" who runs this place is absolutely insane. I went to pickup my rental car with a 4PM pickup time, arrived at 3:55 and they were closed. Nowhere in my confirmation email did it say to come at 3:30 for a 4pm pickup. Don't offer a 4:00 p.m. pick up time if you're not open at 4:00. Regardless, they were closed. After a mess up at the Seymour St and being told to go here to pick up the car, they had know knowledge of the booking at this branch. A very rude older gentleman at the desk basically saying it’s not there problem as they don’t have a car. Tried to give us the telephone number of the airport branch and told us that we had to call them to ask them if they had one. He couldn’t have been any less helpful.
Everything perfect. Received a brand new car, friendly staff, after 5mins we where gone. Great experience!
