Great freindly Will use again.
Specified, in person, a specific vehicle on Tuesday and was told they only had one but it should be ready by my pick up day of Friday. It wasn't. Was told that I would receive a different vehicle but would have to wait 5 minutes. 5 MINUTES! It turned into 30 minutes. I may go to a different rental agency in the future. Sadly I have been renting almost exclusively from Hertz for over 40 years and the service has deteriorated greatly at this unit.
Don't do it! Rented a car and got halfway there to pick it up when they texted that they didn't have a car. That was 8-13-26. This was a prepaid car, and I made many calls trying to figure it out and only got people who had no idea and barely spoke English. Luckily that fee didn't ever go thru. HOWEVER, on 9-11-26, a pending charge for $58.31 showed up on my card. I called Hertz and some foreign dude said it was a "no show" fee. WHAT!?!? He said I wouldn't be charged or something - his accent was harsh and hard to understand... read more
1 star. I do not recommend renting from this Hertz location. Three reservations in the past six months, and all three were canceled by the location on the day of pickup because they did not have the vehicle. On top of that, the customer service during the most recent situation was extremely disappointing. I’ve lived in Iowa for six years and have rented from this Hertz location multiple times a year. I won’t rent here again & likely never from Hertz again. Twice in 12 months I did not receive the vehicle that was reserved and it seems clear Hertz doesn’t care about it. Definitely not a luxury vehicle
