It's been 15 days since they took a deposit from my credit card. They haven't paid me yet. I email them, no one responds, I call, no one answers. What kind of professionalism is this? I would have had fewer problems if I rented a car from a rent-a-car company down the street. Sunshine Coast Airport branch

My mum hired a car from hertz and the guy with the hi viz jacket was rude arrogant disrespectful and no respect for customer service I don’t think this guy should be there as he needs to fix his attitude around the public disappointing we have been thru car hire places and they have been good but this experience is just disgusting not good enough

I’ve always held the Hertz brand in high regard, which is why I was so disappointed by the customer service experience at the Sunshine Coast Airport location on Friday 4th April 2025. Our interaction with the manager on duty, who had visible arm and lower leg tattoos, was unexpectedly negative. We approached the counter in good spirits and with a polite attitude, but were met with her unprovoked sarcasm, snark, and aggression. Agree with above. I use these guys as I have an account through work. The airport fees plus extra fees with insurance bit needed ended up being triple the cost of car. I also had a mechanical issue with the car that was told was nothing and treated like an idiot. No apologies or anything
