I just had the worst experience in my whole life not just in car rental, but in getting any kind of service. We made a reservation online and arrived to the Sunnyvale branch on time. There was only one representative there and she was beyond unprofessional. She told us that there was no available car now for us because we had made our reservation last minute. The Sunnyvale Team has always been great. First off I want to recognize Mohammed who has been a mainstay at Hertz in Sunnyvale. He a very detailed, professional, and has lots of patience I've been dealing with Mohammed about 10 years now. Now Sunnyvale has a new manager her name is Jennifer she is very professional, great customer service and very friendly. I'll continue to go to the Sunnyvale location. horrible location. they don’t honor reservations. when i had questions the manager wouldn’t look at me and kept trying to end the conversation. the location wasn’t even busy she was just rude and unhelpful.
impolite staff and fake website information
Bait & switch: reserved a car, received confirmation email. When I arrived they said they did not have that car size and it’d be 33% more. Cancelled and walked down the street to Enterprise, who charged what they said.
