If I could give less than one start review, I would. About 50% of the times I have rented a car through this Hertz office, I have left WITHOUT car.

Booked a car for 8am when they open and no one has shown up yet almost 30 minutes past the hour, two of us are waiting out here for an agent to show up. Farce of a rental agency, if you want customers you might want to show up to open the business. I will be late to an interview because of this and will likely lose out on a job. I have an urgent question for this location about my Hertz reservation tomorrow morning. I have called three times during their business hours and they do not pick up the phone. It rings and rings and eventually they hang up on me.

So far the best Hertz location in the Cambridge Somerville Medford area. Usually always have cars available, no need to wait for extended period of time, the front desks are professional with highly efficient customer service. They also accept after hour returns.

After booking a car here, I checked the reviews and got a bit worried since many were negative. However, my experience was excellent. The staff were competent, helpful, and made the process smooth. I would definitely rent from this agency again. Also, if you call and don’t get an immediate answer, be patient—it’s a small office. When I did get through, they were extremely helpful in confirming my booking and answering my questions.
