My mom was renting a midsize SUV for a trip with her grandkids. They told her she needed to be here by 4:30. I drove her there at 4:30 only to find out. They decided at some point that the car needed two new tires and sent it to the shop down the street and it wouldn't be back until 5:30. Only they didn't bother calling her and telling her this. I had a confirmed reservation (L2432112414) for June 3, 2025. Despite receiving confirmation and speaking with someone prior to arrival, I was told—at the last minute—that no cars were available. This felt like a bait and switch: they confirmed my reservation, only to leave me without a vehicle when I needed it. I was told I’d be refunded, but had to wait weeks and follow up multiple times (including online, phone and in person), and as of today, I’m still waiting for my refund to be processed. I rent from this location frequently, and the staff are the best! Customer service is outstanding from everyone, but Elijah goes above and beyond. I’ve tried several companies and locations within 30 min of my house over the past few years and, hands down, this is the best. The staff at this location are 100% the reason I switched to Hertz as my primary rental car company over my previous preferred vendor.
