Bad company to rent from. Had a reservation a week out. Got there to get the car and they had no car. Said that our reservation wasn’t a priority but crazy they gave us a confirmation number lol. Place is a joke. Lucky they got one star cause zero isn’t an option. GO TO AVIS they are a better company and they are not rude and hey you will get a nicer car then the ones hurts had on their lot half of them are busted up

As a President’s Circle member, I am very disappointed with my recent experience at the Shawnee Hertz location. After confirming my reservation multiple times with customer service and being assured that a vehicle was available, Jessica refused to provide the vehicle. The next day, she again denied the rental and gave a different reason. I have always had good experiences with most Hertz employees, especially at the Overland Park location, but Jessica’s behavior has consistently been rude and unprofessional. I rented a van, received a Kia Carnival, and every seat aside from the driver, and front passenger seat was not installed. When I called the agent to share that I was unable to get on the road because none of the seats were secure, she shared that she too, noticed it, and could not figure it out, but I could look up a YouTube video to try to properly install the seats myself. *update to review. Not only did they screw him over with a car but they refuse to remove a ‘no show’ fee on his account (when he properly showed up and Hertz didn’t have a single car for him despite the reservation) . Hertz doesn’t answer the telephone so he drove up to hertz today and waited in line forever all for the associate to say he can’t do anything about the no show fee and call billing. READ BEFORE RENTING A CAR HERE: The service offered by this agency, and by the company in general, is, to say the least, dismal. My company reserved a car at the Shawnee branch.
