Hertz STAY AWAY. God awful customer service, can’t even be called customer service. We rented a car - selected location pickup and class of car. Received confirmation. Showed up and was told they don’t carry that class, I could drive what they gave me around to other locations looking for the correct car. Worst service, they won’t answer their phones.
I had a very disappointing experience with Chris at Hertz. He was rude, obnoxious, and completely unhelpful. When I arrived, there was no car available for me, and he simply said I was on a “waiting list” without offering any explanation of what that meant or how long the wait would be. When I asked for a refund, he told me I would have to handle it directly with Hertz, offering no assistance or solutions.
