Relating experience of my friend. His 19 year old son had a minor car wreck and insurance paid for rental car from Hertz during the repair. When my friend returned the car to this location, Hertz charged him a $300. charge for dirty floor mats and offered no other remedy. I suggested he take the car and get it detailed but he had already turned it in.
