If your flight cancels last minute the day after Christmas and you need a rental car to get home, I recommend going to any other car rental location in the world besides this one. I arrived right at store opening at 8 AM and was greeted by “we don’t have any cars” by Marcus, the store manager/only employee. It wasn’t until 1230 PM that he finally called another Hertz branch to try and find a car, at which time none were available within 100 miles. The manager completely lied to us about having to use a credit card, when we said we’d book a car 5 days previously with a debit card she said they changed the rules today, how convenient and clearly a lie. We went to the other hertz location in Santa Barbara and had no problem at all, as well as a good laugh with this sign on the desk.
