I cannot stress enough that you must photograph anything and everything on the vehicle before leaving. They will 100% try to pin old damage on you. The Hertz employee even filled out the inspection form themselves (prior to me leaving) and still tried to say we caused the damage afterwards. Absolutely terrible. Will not be renting with Hertz again.
If I could give no stars I would. This is the worst car rental company I’ve ever experienced. My flight got delayed so they wouldn’t give me my car. They were extremely rude, all of the agents. They refused to help in any way and threatened me with the police for asking them to honor my reservation. I heard them being rude to every customer. Do not give this place your money. They don’t deserve it. We went to enterprise and were treated like gold and got a Mercedes no issues, very friendly.
Dear Hertz company, I enjoy renting unit from your establishment, However this last rental, although a wonderful truck, came with some terrifying additions. 1st that the dash demanding Oil change required. Ok it happens. 2ndTire pressure monitoring also active for low R/R tire. Ok it happens. 3rdwiper blades streaking- Making visibility difficult= hazard. 4thAnd to say the Holy Grail of issues the lug nuts coming off the Right rear wheel= potential loss of control and accident !!!
