Busy conference in town, car rentals were totally booked up. I made a last minute reservation the night before for 12:00 the next day. Got a reminder text at 10:00 AM reminding me my rental was starting in 2 hours. Arrived to rental agency at 12:15, large line and got to the front to be told no rentals for anyone who booked after closing yesterday. What is the point of reserving a rental when I get there and they dont have any cars?!
I am a Five Star Hertz member. The wait to get the vehicle was over an hour, and when it was finally our turn there were only two vehicles available. We chose the Tesla, but it was at 6% charge and we were told we needed to find a charger ourselves. We spoke with the person cleaning the vehicle and they showed us a charger that Hertz uses. We went to lunch while it charged, but when we came back the staff said they were unaware they even had a Tesla charger and apologized for not charging it (we ended up being billed for tha... read more
They will first help you complete the car rental paperwork, and then use your rental time to wash the car, which takes about 90 minutes.
Booking was easy, picking it up and returning the vehicle was easy too. Everything went well and I'd book again.
