This company successfully ruined our entire vacation, so thank you Hertz. Why would you rent cars to people that you don’t have? And the solution offered to us was call another location and see what they have. So, what was the point of me booking a specific car to accommodate our group and luggage 3 months in advance. I truly hope the staff here have the exact life that they deserve.
Do not book from this unscrupulous "business", they called me an hour before I was supposed to pickup my vehicle to say they don't have any vehicles and they can't do anything to help. The complete lack of empathy, urgency, and customer care is disgraceful. They followed by hanging up on me and not answering the phone for hours. Furthermore just don't book from Hertz period. Awful experience, will never rent from this location again
Hertz rental office, Salem, MA handled our long-term rental superbly. The employee/mgr who managed the office was not only professional but competent which these days is hard to come across. Kudos to Greg Spero, Salem, MA and his assistant Fabio for a job well-done. We rent frequently with Hertz and I wish all employees were like Greg an Fabio. Hertz should be grateful for these employees.
The worst experience I've ever had from a Hertz. I've used this location multiple times when I come and visit family and have never had a problem. This time the car wasn't cleaned and there was no windshield fluid to clean it, I had to get windex and cleaning supplies to clean the windows. I was pulled over three times by state and local police because the inspection sticker was over two months expired.
