A perfect experience from pick up to drop off. Car was immaculate and representative were friendly and very helpful!
Made a reservation. Received a confirmation email. When i went to the location to pick up the vehicle, they told me that they didn't have any car available and i needed to upgrade to get a car. Staff were not cooperative and did not care. They were not willing to give me the upgraded car.
They did not honor the expedia reservation (they wanted 50% more) claiming the reservation was done too close. They did have the car though. I just walked off. To my surprise, they had a charge on my card couple of days later. In my mind, hertz is a good company, not sure how they allow such location to exist with these practices.
My experience with Hertz and this Hertz location was unacceptable from start to finish. We booked both our vehicle pickup and return at the Redwood City location for a Saturday through Hertz’s official website. The location’s door clearly stated that it was open on Saturdays, and we had also successfully picked up a car from this same location on a Saturday just one month earlier.
