I want to share an honest experience with Hertz. The website showed vehicles available, so I called ahead to confirm before heading over. The phone communication was excellent — professional, polite, and very reassuring. I was told you were available to assist, which gave me confidence in making the trip. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the location, I was informed that no vehicles were actually available. I would give them zero stars if I could. I made a reservation through Expedia about a month ahead of time to pick up a car at this location at 3:30pm on a Friday because it said they were open from 8-4. I received a second email confirmation just a few days prior with the same information. First, it was very difficult to even find them because the office had no exterior signage and is located inside the body shop at the Price Toyota dealership. They closed without telling any of their customers, then redirected their customers to go to two different Hertz locations. Those other two Hertz had no cars available and could only provide what was in stock at a much higher price. While the people who worked at the other locations were nice, Hertz had a responsibility to inform their clients of the closure and that their reservation was no longer guaranteed.
