I did not have a positive experience at this location. I had specifically requested a certain type of vehicle, but was given a different one without explanation. The associate assured me she would call on Monday to arrange a swap for the correct vehicle, but I never received a follow-up. Despite calling twice, I was repeatedly told the requested car was unavailable. When it came time to return the rental, I arranged for someone to meet me at 5:00 PM to give me a ride. My experience with Hertz was horrible! After reserving a cat online, I arrive only to find out there are no cats available. Very poor service!! Adding a note to say this response is just as poor as the service I received at the location and through the 800 number. Not one person has offered anything other than a weak apology.
I'm not sure if the employee was having a bad day or if I was victim to a scam like others gave mentioned. When I brought my car back the girl gave me the keys back and said I would have to get the car vacuumed out stating that the floors was 'covered in sand'. They gave me no floor mats and I was the only occupant for 5 days with no sand in sight. By the time I made it back and got my receipt I was charged another day. The girl stated they did not have vacuumes? Or somehow they weren't powerful enough?
The chances of even getting a rental are very slim. If you book online, don't expect it to mean they have a car
WARNING: DO NOT rent from this location / company. They do not honor their pricing, even after reservation made online. 1-800 customer service is zero help as well. After reserving car at one price, I was charged a different price. Then called to extend rental by one day, and extra charges were added, as well as a different rate, even though the nationwide customer service supervisor added a “courtesy voucher” to my rental.
