Was very worried after reading some of the bad reviews but my experience ended up being great! Came in on a Friday afternoon with a prepaid reservation, waited about 10 minutes with 2 people ahead of us. Andrew was great, answered all of our questions and gave us our choice of several cars in the class we’d reserved. Only took us about 20 minutes total.
Extremely put out and my time was totally wasted. I called in advance asking for all the charges and any fees so I would know if I could afford it. The website doesn't clearly state all the back fees attached. I've never rented a car so I called ahead. They told me there were no other fees - so I arrive, I have to wait for almost an hour because the 2 men working are clearly doing everything with no help- the line is out the door and when I finally get to the counter- the guy tells me there are registration and down payment ... read more
Absolutely terrible experience with Hertz. I returned the car, paid everything in full, and the rental was completely closed. Then, two months later, they had the audacity to charge my card $1,000 without any notice, explanation, or authorization. This company is full of thieves and scammers. Stay far away from Hertz they steal money from their customers after the rental is over!
