Horrible experience, horrible customer service. Would not recommend.
I rented a car three weeks in advance to get from UCF to Destin, FL. Had a confirmation for 3 pm pickup. When I got there, I went inside Pep Boys and asked where the Hertz counter was…man said they haven’t had rentals here for some time. I was stranded out of town…customer service wanted me to drive to next town to get car at another location. Terrible customer service…pathetic they sent me to a vacated location. Enterprise down the road was able to get me a one way rental. 0 stars…less than 1 for Hertz.
Never rent from this location. I needed a rental while my daughters car was being repaired. Customer service was nice, but didn’t have the car I reserved, not a big deal, took what I could get. Agent told me I could drop the car off at the collision center I was using to have my car repaired…awesome! Bonus points, I don’t have to find someone to drop me off & then follow me across town, so I found this incredibly helpful. Please refrain renting from these guys. They don’t have cars most of the time and customer service sucks. I know they don’t accept the responsibility for missing items in the rental car but in my case I met with an accident and I had to go to ER directly in an ambulance and 2 days later when I inquired about my personal belongings they didn’t take any effort to find it. I kept following up for couple of months and now they are saying it’s more than a month so they can’t locate it. Seriously !!! Pathetic service.
