The worst employees—they don't serve customers properly. They should be ashamed of themselves for not providing proper service; it is the absolute worst car rental agency.

Staff was unprofessional during my wife’s time and rude towards another customer. Was given a dirty car with a mechanical warning. Had to exchange elsewere and were not given a comparable car to what we had. Currently trying to remedy this experience since it is an insurance rental.

Hertz is running a straight‑up bait‑and‑switch scam, and I’m done giving them the benefit of the doubt. If you value your money, your time, or your sanity, do not book with Hertz. I booked through CheapTickets for $34.58, clearly labeled as “all mandatory taxes and fees included.” Sounds simple, right? Wrong. Hertz waited until after I returned the car to jack up the price — first to $40.04, then again to $44.86. That’s a 30%+ price increase after the fact. Completely unacceptable.
