Mary G. had a reservation for a vehicle and when she arrived to pick it up, the agent advised that they didn't have any cars and could only give her a 12 or 18 passenger van (2025 Express 3500). Mary is 4'10" and is too petite for such a large vehicle. NOTE: there were at least 3 other Hertz vehicles in the lot; but the agent told Mary those were not theirs (although the vehicles were parked in "Hertz" specific parking spaces.. labeled, "Hertz"). I had a good experience
Website took my reservation but, when I arrived, there were no cars available. They said they had a different car for another $250.
Hertz car rental is the best with clean car and very affordable and reliable.
Should have read the reviews first. This is a corporate complaint. They DO NOT honor your Gold Rewards for the 25% discount. The rep at the onsite location was very nice. Even pulled the car up for me in the rain. Do only give 1/2 a tank of gas. I made sure to return the car only to that amount. I've called three times about the Gold Rewards. Even executive offices yesterday. They are trained well with the corporate answer of why you can't get the discount. Not wasting any more time on them & WILL NEVER use them again. Shop ... read more
