I have been using Hertz for over 5 yrs and have been satisfied with their service
Called in to get a quote, went through the robo system and got connected shortly. An employee then put me on hold for nearly an hour before I gave up. Im sure they do rent cars
Overcharging and odometer is not right
I arrived at the Burbank Hertz and was told they only had a pickup truck. I was told to drive an EV they loaned me to the north Hollywood location and swap it out for a sedan. They said they couldn’t give me any other car besides the truck because they were also reserved. This wasted over an hour of my time and I will be leaving detailed Google reviews for both locations for their poor service. Over 7 years of renting cars I’ve never been asked to drive myself to a second destination and forced to wait for a reservation.
Not enough staff to cover returns and rentals. Have already been waiting 10 minutes just to return a rental — and still have three people ahead of me. Also, upon rental the back of the car was filthy, full of dirt and sand.
